The Sunny Boy 4.0-1AV-41 is easy to install and monitor. In addition to the Shadefix shadow management system, formerly OptiTrac Global Peak, there is SMA Smart Connected, which makes this inverter suitable for various environments.

Easy & fast installation

The inverter is relatively lightweight with only 17.5kg. This makes installation by only one technician possible. In addition, the integrated user interface can be accessed directly without having to unscrew the enclosure. The Sunny Boy 4.0-1AV-41 can then be set up quickly and easily via a smartphone or other suitable device.

Shadefix

Shadow management systems are indispensable for solar panels that are not free of objects that can block sunlight. Shadefix is suitable for environments with light to medium shading. As a result, no other components are required. Cells that are completely or partially covered by shadow and therefore perform less will be bypassed so that other solar cells will not suffer any power loss.

SMA Smart Connected

SMA automatically monitors all connected inverters via the SMA Smart Connected system. As soon as Sunny Boy 4.0-1AV-41 is installed and logged on, continuous monitoring of SMA starts. As soon as an anomaly is detected, a signal is automatically sent to the installer and customer. In this way, the installer can act immediately. If a replacement inverter is required, it will be delivered by SMA within 1 to 3 days.
