POWER MODULE

Essential power module for a complete Growatt APX high-voltage battery set of 4 to 6 battery modules, in combination with the Growatt MOD 8-10KTL3-XH (BP) inverters. Total kWh of the complete battery set: 20 - 30.

TECHNOLOGY

Integrated with novel soft-switching parallel connection technology, the Growatt PAX delivers more energy by eliminating the effect of mismatch between packs, enabling each module to fully charge and discharge independently.
Greater flexibility for installation and expansion with batteries of varied State of Charge (SoC) and from different new batches, ultimately saving on O&M and supply chain costs, while featuring a redundancy design preventing system shut-down due to a defective pack.

CAPACITY

In combination with the Growatt MOD 8-10KTL3-XH (BP) inverters, a total of four to six APX 5.0P-B1 battery modules are needed. Depending on the number of used battery modules, the maximum capacity is between 20 and 30kWh. The maximum charge and discharge capacity for this APX Power Module is 10kW.

COMPATIBILITY

The APX 5.0P-B1 battery is compatible with the single-phase, split-phase and three-phase battery-ready Growatt inverters. Including the MIN 2500-6000TL-XH, MIN 3000-11400TL-XH-US and MOD 3-10KTL3-XH models for residential applications and the MID 12-30KTL3-XH model for commercial use.

PROTECTION

Protection includes an active Battery Management System (BMS) for each cell, a pack-level energy optimizer and built-in aerosol fire protection for each module, an arc-fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) and a replaceable fuse for the whole system.
