POWER MODULE 

Essential power module for a complete Growatt APX high-voltage battery set of 1 to 6 battery modules, in combination with the Growatt MID 11-30KTL3-XH inverters. Total kWh of the complete battery set: 5 - 30.

TECHNOLOGY

Integrated with novel soft-switching parallel connection technology, the Growatt APX delivers more energy by eliminating the effect of mismatch between packs, enabling each module to fully charge and discharge independently. Greater flexibility for installation and expansion with batteries of varied State of Charge (SoC) and from different new batches, ultimately saving on O&M and supply chain costs, while featuring a redundancy design preventing system shut-down due to a defective pack.

CAPACITY

In combination with the Growatt MID 11-30KTL3-XH inverters, a total of one to six APX 5.0P-B1 battery modules can be equipped. Depending on the number of used battery modules, the maximum capacity is between 5 and 30kWh. The maximum charge and discharge power in combination with APX 98034-P2 for this APX battery system  is 15kW. However, the maximum charge and discharge power is also limited to the maximum charge and discharge power of the inverter. 

PROTECTION

Protection includes an active Battery Management System (BMS) for each battery module,  a pack-level energy optimizer and built-in aerosol fire protection for each module and a replaceable fuse for the whole system.
