The new and compact design of the PLENTICORE plus 5.5 hybrid inverter allows for a quick and simple install. There are no additional components or interfaces required. The inverter has a separate compartment with and for all connecting interfaces, equipped with SUNCLIX-connectors without the need of tools.

The Kostal PLENTICORE plus 5.5 hybrid inverter is an impressive battery inverter. The inverter won an EES award innovative energy storage. The PLENTICORE has many options built into just one unit.

The battery inverter allows for higher profits and self-use, such as easy integration into Smart homes. The PLENTICORE offers more than just battery options, it’s for example also compatible with various high voltage battery storage systems. Also, the PLENTICORE is also suited as a replacement string inverter up to 3 MPP.

Combination with power generating systems

The Kostal PLENTICORE plus 5.5 hybrid inverter enables storage of non-DC or AC through the connected battery storage system. This allows electricity from multiple sources to be stored. These AC power sources could, for example, be extra inverters.

Flexible inverters

Installing PV-systems has multiple possibilities thanks to the Kostal PLENTICORE plus 5.5 hybrid inverter. The inverter includes extra inputs next to the two PV inputs. Because of this, the inverter can be connected as a battery or string inverter with three MPP trackers in multiple ways. With a more flexible approach as a result.

Smart connected

The PLENTICORE has a Smart Communication Board, enabling the option to add more functions through the integrated web app. The inverter will always be up to date. A display, data logging, grid monitoring and networking interfaces are integrated by default. The inverter is also WLAN Ready when using an external USB WLAN adapter.

Easy install

The PLENTICORE is easy to install because of its compact design. The inverter has an easy configuration using a setup wizard. The install is also safe due to the separated compartments of the internal electronics and the connecting interfaces. The inverter is automatically updated and maintained remotely.
